Swing for it at Mr Mulligan Adventure Golf
Get ready to tee up for a fun time with the family at Mr Mulligan’s, which has both an outdoor and indoor crazy golf venue. Open to all age groups, the indoor location boasts two courses, ‘under the sea’ and ‘enchanted garden’ complete with neon colours and bold structures. There is a restaurant and bar so you can refuel after the adventure and ‘kids eat free’ between 12-4pm with any paying adult. If you prefer to play outside, then head to their other venue with your matey and work your way round the pirate island – aye aye captain!
Fun and thrills at Gulliver’s Land Theme Park
For a great family day out head to Gulliver’s Land with over 70 attractions, specifically designed for children aged between 2 to 13. Rides include Tree Top Swings, the Flying Carpet, Jungle Falls water slides, The Crazy Mouse, Runaway Train, plus many more. There are also plenty of other attractions such as the Adventure Land Maze, the Forest Ball Crawl, Princess Play Area and the Sand Dig. Although you can buy food on site, you can bring your own to keep costs down, plus parking is free.
Learn at Milton Keynes Museum
During the half term, MK Museum is hosting five days of activities for young visitors. At the new pond your little ones can watch the tadpoles swim around before making their own frog life cycle wheel or they can make their own hot buttered toast in the farmhouse kitchen. Head to the Connected Earth gallery where your kids can learn about Morse code and play at being a switchboard operator. There is lots to see and do, and at £7.00 for children aged between 5-12 it is money well spent.
A magical experience at Milton Keynes Theatre
One of the West End’s most iconic shows and one of the world’s most popular musicals – Les Misérables is now on at Milton Keynes Theatre until the 8th June. The ‘revitalised’ version has received rave reviews with the local press, so make sure you get one of the hottest seats in town while you can.
Outdoor adventure at Willen Lake
Milton Keynes’ most popular park is packed with a wide range of activities to suit all ages. If you love the great outdoors, then this is the place to be. Reach for new heights at the Treetop Extreme with obstacles that will require you to climb, swing and jump.
